Scoring System

Learn about the scoring system that is applied in our competitions

Players score points for their performance on the field, based on the gamesheets provided by Sportmonks, our official statistics provider, and almost all of RealFevr fantasy leagues scoring system is based on 15 different real match statistics, being Women's Euro and Liga BPI the only exceptions. For these two competitions we don't use CBI (clearances, blocks, and interceptions), DW (duels won), and KP (key passes).

Points are allocated for the following events (to know exactly how many points, check the Rules section of each competition).

--> Minutes Played - 0-59 minutes = 1 point and 6-90 minutes = 2 points, but injury time doesn't count as minutes played

--> Goals Scored

--> Assists - the last "pass" before a goals is scored:

  • The last pass can be deliberate or not. If an opponent has a touch on the ball that considerably changes its trajectory, there will be no assist.

  • If a shot is blocked by an opponent, saved by the keeper, or hits the posts and a player scores on the rebound, the player who made the original shot gets an assist.

  • If a player passes or shoots the ball, resulting in an own-goal by an opponent, the scoring team player gets an assist.

  • When a penalty goal is scored, the player who suffered the foul that resulted in the penalty will get an assist. If the fouled player is the same has the penalty taker who scores, there will be no assist. Handball situations will also be taken into account for assist purposes.

--> Clean Sheet: awarded to players (goalkeepers, defenders or midfielders) when they play 60 or more minutes and the team doesn't concede any goal during that period. However, if a player is sent-off, all goals conceded by the team until the end of the game will count towards the "Goals Conceded" total.

--> Goals Conceded: players are only credited with the goals conceded during the time they were on the field, so if the team doesn't concede any goals during this period, no points will be deducted from those players. However, if a player is sent-off, all goals conceded by the team until the end of the game will count towards the "Goals Conceded" total.

--> Own Goal: goals directed into the back of the net by a player of the team that conceded, if the ball wasn't already going in that direction (e.g. shots off target or bounces off the post and against the goalkeeper's back).

--> Yellow and Red Cards: only the events "on the pitch" are taken into account, the cards shown to players on the bench (before or after they are subbed in or out) or before/after/during half time don't count for their score.

Final Notes:

  • It is possible that stats corrections are applied to previously released scores, since the quality standards imply a full review of all events that went on on the field of play as well as the referee's official report. In case of any correction, it will always happen in the 24 hours after the end of the respective gameweek/round and will result in automatic updates of weekly and season scores.
