Playoffs
Playoffs work like any elimination tournament, where the losing team says goodbye to the possibility of becoming a Champion. The only thing different from a final stage of a Champions or a World Cup is that we have a "bye week" for some teams.
Should the commissioner decide there will be Playoffs, then the excitement lasts until the last match! The Playoffs take place in the last three gameweeks of the League and the top six teams in gameweek 31 will participate in it.
The first and second places are automatically qualified for the semi-finals. From the third to the sixth, they play the quarter-finals on gameweek 32. The two winners of these games will advance to the semi-final, where they will face the first and the second. And the winners of the semis play the final on the last round.
This means that even if you finish the regular season in 6th place, you have a chance to be champion if you win the play-off!
Format
Playoffs have a knockout format, with the 1st and 2nd placed teams in the Regular Phase being exempt from the 1st round of the Playoffs
Our standard model qualifies 6 teams of 10 participants to the Playoffs. The 3rd plays with the 6th and the 4th with the 5th in the Quarter-Final. The 1st and 2nd place shall qualify directly to the Semi-Finals, an award for their performance during the Regular Season. They deserve to be step closer to the Final.
Tiebreaker
Tiebreakers are decided based on the criteria defined in the Rules. The last criterion, the "coin toss" is performed by RealFevr with a random generator and without and without the presence of any member of an official authority.
Market during Playoffs
There are no changes to the Market during Playoffs. Players go on waivers at the start of their games and the weekly waiver processing takes place between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. Available players will then be Free Agents.
