- Draft Leagues

You learned the ropes, now it's time to explore the second game mode

In addition to the Classic / Salary Cap — where you have 100M to build a team and compete against all users — there is also the Draft model, where 10 teams with unique teams compete against each other in the most exciting fantasy experience. Here you can find the basic rules.

Draft time:

  • The time of the Draft is probably the most exciting time in the world of fantasy leagues. The 10 participants in the league are randomly selected and, one at a time, choose a player for their team. Each member has 1 minute and a half for each choice. When the 10th member has chosen their first player, the order reverses. The 10th chooses again, then the 9th and so on until the 1st. And the order goes back and forth, until all members have completed their squads of 14 players.

Invalid rosters and starting 11s:

  • Our rules on roster size won't allow teams to go over the maximum players allowed. Due to uneven transfers, a roster may have less than the maximum and will score 0 points until it is corrected.

  • Starting 11 composition must obey the available formations and RealFevr has all the safeguards that prevent against Starting 11's not in accordance with the allowed formations. Due to trade and waiver ramifications it's possible to generate an invalid Starting 11, but we'll notify you of that every time you visit a new page, until you correct it.

"Why are there some players I can't replace in the Starting 11?"

Players are locked in your Starting 11 as soon as their games start and will remain there until the end of a round

"Can't I drop a player without adding another?"

Roster sizes must always be respected, with the exception of uneven trades. Therefore, you'll need to add a player everytime you make a stop.

Gameweeks:

  • After the teams have been created, the Draft League starts on the next gameweek. If you made your Draft in the middle of a gameweek, the score doesn't start counting until the next gameweek.

Transfers:

  • In Draft Leagues the market never closes. You can transfer available players (who are not in any of the other teams in your league) until their team starts playing. After starting a real football match starts, all available players of those teams get "Waiver" status.

  • In addition to available players, you can trade with other teams in your league. If your team is very strong in attack, but weak in defence, you can propose a trade to another member. You give one of your forwards and ask for a defender in return. And you choose the exact players you want to involve in the trade. Of course, the other team can refuse the exchange, but it doesn't hurt to try.

Waivers

  • The Waiver Wire is the market protection mechanism we've selected in order to provide equal access to all team managers to the player pool, after the draft. They are processed regarding the "Waiver Order", which analyzes the requests of each team manager and processes them one by one until they are all processed.

  • A player is placed on Waivers at the time his weekly game begins and he will mantain that status until the end of the Round in question. On the other hand, a player goes from Waivers to Free Agent after the weekly waiver processing. After analyzing and processing all the waiver requests, players who do not belong to any squad will be Free Agents.

Playoffs:

  • Playoffs are the method we elected to determine the winner of each league (this in Public Leagues or Private Leagues where the commissioner picked this option). The commissioner defines, when creating the league, if it will have play-offs or not. If not, the league proceeds as normal until the end and the team that finishes first is crowned winner. This can cause the winning title to be decided before the end if the member already has too many points ahead of the second place.

Championship:

  • It works like any national championship, with weekly matchups that result either in a Win, a Draw or a Loss. The number of rounds and matchups differs from league to league, depending on the start date. If a league has Playoffs, the Championship is split in two phases: Regular Season and Finals.
