Draft Time
Draft time is the roster selection process, the moment when the 10 team managers in the League come together to choose players. All competitors in the League are present in an online room, and will select their teams against other opponents in real-time.
We recommend you use your computer as there is a lot going on and you may not control everything that is happening on the screen if you use your phone.
When the Commissioner creates the Draft League, he sets a day and time for the Draft time. If the league does not have 10 teams at the time of the Draft, it will not start and the Commissioner will have to set a new date.
How the process works:
The squads are unique. Only one team will have one specific player. Your squad can undergo many changes throughout the season, but the players you choose in the first picks can be fundamental, because there is a strong chance that they will be the ones that will accompany you throughout the season. The selection process works just like picking teams in the school playground. The order is set randomly through an algorithm 45 minutes before the start of the Draft. When the time comes members will start choosing players on one end of the line from the 1st person to the 10th in the odd rounds and the other way around in even rounds, from 10th to 1st (1, 2, 3, ... 8, 9, 10, 10, 9, 8 ... 3, 2, 1, ... and so on).
The chosen players do not have to obey (almost) any rules. You can start with a striker, a goalkeeper or whoever you want. There is also no limit on players from real teams. You can have players from one just team… if your opponents allow it, of course. The only limitation is that you have to have enough players of each position to build a valid tactic.
Watchlist:
Your watchlist won't be available in the Draft, but we have a specific area for you to define your Pre-Draft rankings that substitutes bringing your Watchlist to the Draft.
Attendance
If you don't show up for the Draft you can set an order of player picks in advance, or even rely on our automatic pick algorithm. We have mechanisms in place that choose the best available player (by our rankings) in every round, respecting formation rules, that will ensure that even if you're not there, you'll come out of it with a good team.
